New data object/New type of feed A2

This section describes how to handle new data-driven features/projects.

Process new object/new data feed type on A2

  1. Business makes a new request.

  2. Request is analysed based on the existing data schema (Rosetta table) and the data available in the sources.

  3. New data model or its elements are being created.

  4. Specifications containing: entry data sample, desired result sample, new Rosetta version, mapping between entry file and Rosetta table schema, are being provided to the Dataprep (or DDOS) team.

    1. If it is linked to the marketingTyre/marketingTubular information (anything that comes from PIM), the PIM team has to be informed in order to analyse and adapt the PIM datamodel and expose new information in the PIM API.

  5. The dev timeline is being defined and communicated (containing QA et UAT period).

Datastream is being managed by the DDOS team. Any request/issue regarding data feeds should be sent to the DDOS team.
