Sort Orders

Sort Orders are the easy way for the users to set orders for their tyres result lists

How to change a sort order?

TSU Administration has a descending hierarchical classification structure. The main page contains the list with all the projects:

Projects available in TSU Administration

Each project is divided into specific product line activities:

Michelin product lin activities

Each product line is divided into locales (language + country):

Michelin 4W locales

In order to change a sort order we need to change the parameters of a chosen locale:

The seasonal sort order consists of two parts: summer/winter priorities and seasons dates:

As you can see, there are two options of changing sort order: "Edit Value" and "Edit Raw Value". The first one is an editable list of tyres available for the chosen locale. "Edit Raw Value" is using JSON code:

To transform the sort order provided by a country to into a .json list, you can use "sort order seasonal marketing priority 4W" file.

Once changes made, you need save them using "Deploy" button:

and choose the environment of deployment:

4W

In case of 4W there two possible sort orders:

  • general sort order - sort order used is one from the Product template

  • seasonal sort order - two seasonal sort orders one for summer and one for winter, changed via TSU Administration interface

Only one of the above can be used on the website.

Here is the list of locals and algorithmes they're using.

MO

  • general sort order - managed using Product template

  • usages sort orders - managed via TSU Administration.

Both of them are implemented on the same time. The general is used for "search by size" and "search by vehicle". The usages sort order is used to order tyres in "by usage" search.
