FAQ
This section can help you answering some basic questions about missing data.
As the B2B import data process is very complex, there are several steps that need to be verified before creating an issue due to missing data.
The first thing to do is understand the database and its elements.
How to use product catalogs and product template
RAG
RAG initiates the article and product (range names) import. RAG is an excel file containing all B2B CAIs.
The CAIs are already pre-filtered (on their status). We only receive the commercialized once. RAG contains some basic technical information, this is why it needs to be completed with other databases.
Covered
Covered is used for both AG and GC universes and has two functions:
Completes the CAIs information (pressure, Loaded Radius, max speed, max load….) missing from RAG.
Activates the CAIs - will be present in the SKU if present in Covered with "HasDataBookVisibility" (column AC) set as 1.
AUG PL
AUG PL is only used to complete the CAIs information (pressure, Loaded Radius, max speed, max load….) as the technical information is not present in RAG.
Product Template
This excel is a ‘workaround’ because of the non existence of the product level (= range) and its information in the Michelin databases.
This file will be deleted once the product ‘marketing’ attributs are added (univers, vehicle type, usages, RFID, etc) into databases.
Product is not visible on the website
We prepared for you a list of checks to be done, when you cannot find you product on the website.
Product template
First thing to do is to check if the product in question is active in Product Template.

In order to activate the product in Product Template the following information must be present:
product's name,
template TDP,
universes,
usages.
Active CAIs
Activating product in product template is not enough. If the product is active, but none of its articles is, the product in question won't be visible on the website, because we won't be able to propose any sizes.
First thing to check is RAG - the article for chosen product must figure in RAG with the correct start/end dates. If you're looking for AG or GC product, you need to check Covered as well. The article will be active if it is present in Covered and its Databook visibility is set as 1. If it is the case and you still cannot find your article on the website, please contact the data team for further investigation. If you are looking for a PL product and it is present in RAG, but not available on the website, please contact the data team for further investigation.
Before contacting data team check the product catalog to be sure that at least one article for chosen product is active.
Soft/Start/End date
Last thing to check are the dates. The product will not appear on the page if his soft or start dates are in the future or end date in the past.

As in the example, X MULTI D2 will not be visible on the website before January 2022.
The same rule needs to be applied to its articles. As mentioned above, at least one article must be active in order to activate the product.

Article (CAI) is not visible on the website
And here is a list of steps to be followed, when one of the CAIs is missing.
RAG
First thing to check is RAG file. If your CAI is not present in last RAG export, it will not be present on the website.
Business Line
As already mentioned, B2B data import model is build with multiple steps (the data import model can be found here).
Once you are sure that you CAI is present in RAG, you need to check if it's assigned to correct Business Line. Where this information needs to be checked? In Product Template. Product Template has a column named Template TDP.

If in PT an article (CAI) is marked as GC, but in fact it's an agricultural article the system won't be able to find this article in AUG PL file and will consider it as inactive.
Product template
Even if your article is present in RAG and AUG files and marked as active, if the product (range) itself is marked as inactive, all it's articles won't be activated and visible on the website.
As in case of a missing product, the Product Template must be checked. In order to activate the product in Product Template the following information must be present:
product's name,
template TDP,
universes,
usages.
If any of the following information is missing, the product won't be activated, as well as its CAIs.
Commercial Catalog
If your CAI is present in RAG and it's TDP Template is filled correctly, the last thing to check is if the CAI is present and marked as active in Covered file (this step concerns only AG and GC universes), the column to be checked is "HasDatabookVisibility" and the value should be 1. As mentioned in the beginning, Covered is used in order to activate CAIs present in RAG.
