General Apostrophe data updates rules
if there are no articles within your product catalog for a precise product, this product won't be displayed even if you have it on your product template (a product cannot have 0 CAIs)
If your product cannot be found in the latest 3 tyres data feeds, then the product (data and content) is being removed from Apostrophe.
Products update
Product Catalogs are a list of CAIs with their specificities available in chosen country/region. As our websites are regrouping CAIs (articles) in products using product pages, we were obliged to find a simple way to create a list of products (with their specificities) that would be displayed on the website - Product Template.

Tyre sort order update
B2C has three different sort orders:
generic sort order
seasonal sort order (4W)
usage sort order (MO)
Generic sort order is being updated via Product Template.
Generic sort order is handled by Lizeo, sent to Datafeed and being retrieved by TSU.
Seasonal and usage sort orders are being handled in TSU directly, via Administration interface (all the details of how to change the seasonal/usage sort order can be found here).
In case of 4W, only one sort order can be used at a time. If country has seasons, it will be using the seasonal sort order. If not, it will use the generic sort order.
In case of MO, both sort orders: generic and usage are being use at the same time. Sort order by usage is updated via Sort Order per Usage file.
Car (4W)
As mentioned, 4W has two different sort orders, that cannot be used in the same time.
Generic sort order is destined for countries without seasons. It is updated using Product Template (Column C - Product sort order).
Seasonal sort order is being used by countries with seasons, like France or Norway. Country create two different sort orders, for summer and winter.
This sort order is updated using the Seasonal sort order file.
In the file three elements must be fill in:
summer sort order
winter sort order
seasons start and end dates
Motorbike (MO)
MO is using two sort orders: generic and by usage. Usages sort order is used for search by usage (riding experience):

The generic sort order is used for other researches.
How to use sort order per usage file
It's very simple. What you need to do is:
Open Sort Order Usage Marketing Priority MO
Copy information needed from your Product Template (Product name, Usage)
Choose one of the usages (for example Adventure)
Assign the order for all the products from this usage category
Continue with other usage categories
Once done, create a Jira ticket
Every usage has its proper sort order, where 1 is the highest priority (Tyre marked as 1 will be displayed on top of the list). If no priority is set, then the tyre will come at the end of the list. Alphabetical order will be set within tyres with no marketing priority. It also means that if 2 Tyres have the same priority, between the 2, the display order will be alphabetical.
Update method - Jira ticket
Every sort order must be updated using Jira ticket. Country that wants to change Tyre order creates a ticket, upload an updated file and assign a ticket to a correct person.
