Plug data / locales creation file
In order to coordinate data deployment actions the follow-up file was created. It helps planning data deployment on Apostrophe locales.
Plug data file helps coordinate actions between Project Owners and Data team. It is a Google Sheet available for everybody:
How does it work?
Product Owners identify their need - which locale needs to be created and when. They collect the data on the Business side:
product catalog,
product template,
prices file,
dealers file
and contact Data team to indicate the need.
In the same time they fill the following information in the Plug data Google sheet:
Locales to be created
Priority - when deploying more then one locale at the same time, it needs to be prioritized
Need date - it is very important, this date it's the date of proper data flow sent to the Apostrophe, not the website deployment. The data flow needs to be ready at least a month before the website deployment.
Git ticket number - all the details about the ticket creation can be found in Data deployment - git ticket chapter.
This information is essential. The other parts help the Project Owners to follow the changes that have been already made. On every stage the Project Owner mark as done the fulfilled tasks:

As shown on the follow part Ireland local is already created and finished and the file has been updated. The information was not updated for Brazil, we can still see the date of the TSU delivery, even though the Tyre Selector has been delivered and the website is live.
Plug data/creation locales Apostrophe helps coordinate the work of DCAD, Lizeo and Tyredating. This file is essential and needs to be updated on a regular basis.
